Welcome to my Northern Isles Blog
After over 50 years living in the North Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, England, I moved to Unst, Shetland with my family in the summer of 2008. I have had a life long interest in wildlife - especially birds - and have been taking photographs since the early 1970s. Previously I used Pentax equipment, but since changing to digital in 2006, I now use mostly Canon gear.
